There are three ways to get involved in the DMCI Peer Tutoring program:
Become a Learning Partner, Peer Tutor, or Both!
Learning Partners (LPs)Need help in school? If you would like to receive regular one-on-one help with one or more subjects, sign up to be a Learning Partner!
Your tutor(s) will arrange sessions with you, and you are to attend each session in order to maximize your success. Start by filling out the registration form from the Learning Partner option, and follow the given instructions. You will then be matched with a suitable Peer Tutor and contacted within a few days. |
Peer Tutors (PTs)Want to help others? If you would like to give regular one-on-one help with one or more subjects, sign up to be a Peer Tutor!
You will assigned a Learning Partner (or Partners!), for whom you are responsible for arranging a meeting time and place with, in a public space. Peer Tutors are eligible to earn volunteer hours by tutoring LPs. In order to have these hours recognized by guidance, Tutors must fill out a log sheet with their LPs. Start by filling out the registration form from the Peer Tutor option, and follow the given instructions. You will then be matched with a suitable Learning Partner, whom you should contact ASAP. |
